A New Home Base for 2027
For years, the Y.O. Ranch Hotel has been the heart of the Rallye. This summer’s flooding took a large part of the hotel out of service, and repairs are still underway. So for 2027, we’re spreading out.
The Inn of the Hills is our new headquarters. Registration, the hospitality room, the bar, car staging, the parking lot socials and the Saturday night banquet all happen there. The Y.O. Ranch Hotel is our overflow hotel, a short drive across town. Wherever you stay, you’ll be surrounded by air-cooled Porsches. We expect both hotels to be packed with them.
Your Rallye, Your Way
We don’t provide drive leaders or set daily schedules. No bossy voices on the radio telling you to speed up or slow down. No crack-of-dawn departures because someone else decided 7 AM was the perfect time to start driving.
This is your weekend. Gather your friends, pick a route and set your own pace. Want to chase the sunrise over the hills? Go for it. Prefer a lazy afternoon cruise with lunch at that BBQ joint you’ve been hearing about? Perfect.
Stop wherever catches your eye. The famous dancehall you’ve always wanted to see. The winery with the views. The antique shop with the perfect piece for your garage. The roadside stand with the best peaches in Texas.
What We Give You
Twelve carefully crafted routes covering more than 2,500 miles of the best roads in the Texas Hill Country. Each comes with detailed, turn-by-turn directions refined over a quarter century of exploring.
These aren’t just directions. One route takes you past the most spectacular overlooks. Another winds through historic towns with stories to tell. And the twisty one will remind you why you fell in love with driving in the first place.
Every route brings you back to Kerrville and the parking lot, where stories get shared, tall tales get told and the real magic happens.
The Real Experience
Morning coffee in the Inn of the Hills parking lot, surrounded by the sound of air-cooled engines warming up.
Afternoons on roads most people will never find, in cars built when driving was still an art form.
Evening parking lot socials, where the conversation flows freely and someone inevitably ends up under a car helping with that mysterious rattle (or fuel pump).
Saturday night at the banquet, the legendary Hill Country Rallye dinner where old friends and new ones come together under one roof.
Since 2001
We learned a long time ago that the best rallyes aren’t about trophies, timing or following someone else’s schedule. They’re about the freedom to find your own perfect Hill Country moment, whether that’s the long way to nowhere in particular or the shortest route to that legendary brisket.
Different hotel, same roads, same people who get it. Come ready to drive. Come ready to explore. Come ready to add your chapter to the Rallye’s story.
Your air-cooled Porsche. The best roads in Texas. A long weekend with people who understand that driving is about more than just getting somewhere.
Registration details to be announced soon. Subscribe to be the first to know.
Don’t let this be the weekend you wish you’d been there.
